This is a list of solar power plants . These include the 354 megawatt (MW) solar plant in the USA, the Nevada Solar One plant (USA, 64 MW), the Andasol solar plant (Spain, 100 MW), the PS20 solar plant (Spain, 20 MW). and Solar PS10 solar tower (Spain, 11 MW).
Solar thermal is booming with 1.2 GW under construction in April 2009 and another 13.9 GW announced in 2014. Commissioning is planned for the end of 2010. 5,600 MW of solar thermal projects have been announced in the United States.
